Kristian Riley is a Grammy-nominated music producer, engineer, and multi-instrumentalist based in Los Angeles. He was a founding member of the genre-blending band Citizen King and co-writer of their Top 10 hit “Better Days (And the Bottom Drops Out).”
Following his success with Citizen King, Riley has worked with artists such as The Promise Ring, Maritime, and Silversun Pickups—serving as engineer on their chart-topping album Swoon. He has done sessions with Tyler the Creator, Frank Ocean and George Clinton among many others. Riley plays guitar for the band Bandie and is the founder of Yardlights records. He produces and mixes all of the band’s recordings at his own Yardlights studio.
